What Other People Just Like You Are Saying About Geymer PT and Wellness…

Gary overcame apathy and hip pain and is now jogging most days a week and traveling!

Picture
"My experience with Geymer has been nothing short of the best physical training to battle my Parkinson's Disease. It has given me more strength and balance to battle the effects from what the disease takes away. Alison also helped me through so many physical pain issues. She is unlike most, she really cares about the patient and has the experience to help a person maintain and actually perform better. That is saying a lot!"

Paul is able to travel with his wife and daughter and engage in 5Ks to further the research efforts for PD.

"Geymer PT offers outstanding physical exercise, balance, strength, stretching, and mental conditioning in a fun and supportive environment. They offer personalized training for each individual, whether newly diagnosed or those that have been fighting disease for years. Some come with walkers, some come with canes, and some on their own 2 feet, but all levels are welcome."

Alison Geymer's Story...

Picture
Dr Alison Geymer, PT, DPT, CWS, CLT is a leading Neurologic Physical Therapist and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialists in the North Fort Worth/Keller area who helps older adults move and feel better through use of intense exercise, and she makes it FUN and INTERACTIVE!

She founded Geymer Physical Therapy and Wellness in 2016. During Alison’s 10+ years as a physical therapist, she noticed that clients were being told to “exercise” after being discharged from physical therapy but did not have the resources in the area to continue safe exercise. It is then that she became a certified Rock Steady Boxing coach and began offering group boxing classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease. The initial group started in Alison’s garage so that she could offer this awesome and much needed service as soon as possible to her community. Alison has also been seeing clients in their homes for one on one physical therapy to prepare them for group exercise classes or to rehab them for various issues in order to return safely to class participation. Alison provides both services in order to seamlessly transition people throughout their continuum of care. She believes that people with chronic neurological disorders should have the highest quality access to care throughout their duration to allow them to achieve their highest quality of life.
